Intern with native Romanian

PCG Academia is a Poland-based EdTech company that provides IT solutions for universities and research institutions. We serve over 60 universities in Poland and internationally, including the top ones like Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the University of Warsaw. We are a part of Public Consulting Group – a global consulting firm from Boston that has been serving education, social services, and health sectors for over 30 years.

As PCG Academia, we want to grow internationally and provide our services to universities in Europe and beyond. Romania has emerged as one of the countries with the biggest potential for us and we would like to explore Romanian Higher Ed market in more detail. We are looking for students who could support us in this endeavor. You would be working most closely with two of our product lines: DSpace, and e-Services based on Webcon.

What competences and skills we are looking for:

• Fluency in Romanian (native) and English (at least C1 level)
• Strong communication skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Interest in IT/ Higher Education sector
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus

What would you be responsible for:

• Contacting universities in Romania and presenting our offer
• Setting up meetings with university representatives
• Creating, organizing, and developing databases of potential clients
• Conducting research into: EU funding opportunities for universities, public procurement procedures, potential business partners etc. (mainly in Romanian)
• Summarizing research results in English
• Translating documentation and materials into English/Romanian
• Assisting with translation on client meetings
• Reporting to International Business Development Director
